What to do when you are in a dilemma? Pump your perspective.
This may be the most overlooked advice in trading. When you are kidnapped by short-term fluctuations, staring at the candlesticks until your eyes blur and unable to grasp the direction, stop. Change the time frame, look from daily to weekly, and from weekly to monthly.
Many times the answer is right there, but you can't see it clearly because you're too close. The noise of the market can confuse the eyes, but the long-term trend does not lie. Next time you're struggling, give this trick a try.

You're right, I used to have this problem, staring at the daily chart until my eyes hurt without being able to figure it out.
This trick is amazing, switching to the weekly chart instantly wakes me up, turns out I was just burning my brain.

You are absolutely right. How many times have I been confused just staring at the 15-minute chart? Switching to the daily chart instantly wakes me up.
