Every time the market comes, I can make some profit, but I have never succeeded even once. Where is the problem? The issue actually lies with these two things: take profit and stop loss. When I make a profit, I hesitate to sell, holding on and holding on, and as a result, when the market reverses, I get trapped. When I should take a loss, I lack the courage to admit the loss, waiting and waiting, and in the end, I lose everything.

This recurring state indicates that the fundamental problem lies not in the technology, but in trading psychology. At critical moments, traders become anxious and hesitant, freezing when it's time to act. Many people are like this: they start to get greedy after making some profits, and when they incur losses, they are reluctant to cut their losses. In the end, after going around in circles, they are left with nothing. To achieve stable profits, the first step is to learn to execute one's own trading discipline; this is the threshold.

That hit too close to home; this is exactly how I was played for suckers. I made five bucks thinking I could make fifty, lost fifty and still hoped to double it, and in the end, I had nothing. The key is still the mindset; no matter how amazing the skills are, if the mindset collapses, it's all for nothing. Discipline is really more important than anything, but I just can't execute it. How about we set a flag together, next time let's really be resolute about taking profit and stopping loss.

It's really heart-wrenching to say, this is how I was played people for suckers, greed made me profit, and holding on made me lose --- If the psychological quality isn't trained well, no matter how skilled you are, it won't matter --- That's why I now set stop loss and run, never operating manually again --- What good is knowing all this, when it comes to the critical moment, my hands still shake --- Unfortunately, knowing is easy, but doing is hard, most people can't execute it at all --- Discipline is harder than anything, much harder than finding good coins --- I've tried setting take profit and stop loss, but I still change the orders, it's really despairing --- The fundamental problem is human greed, no matter how smart a person is, they can't escape it --- Cut Loss is the hardest, it feels like cutting your own flesh --- Want to achieve stable profits? First, overcome the psychological barrier, that's the highest threshold.

I am just such a waste, every time I think I can do it, but the result is still the same. You're absolutely right, this psychological barrier is really hard to overcome, greed kills everything. Isn't it just a lack of discipline? It sounds simple, but it's incredibly difficult to put into practice. Everyone knows about stop loss, but when it really comes to losing money, you just can't bring yourself to do it. The issue of mentality has been repeated a thousand times, yet I still can't change. Poor execution is probably the fate of the poor, I believe it.

You’re absolutely right, it’s this vicious cycle that I’ve experienced countless times. Greed really is the poison in trading. --- Is it really that hard to take profit and stop loss, or are we just too greedy? --- It hits hard, this is exactly what I went through last month; feeling envious when I make money and fantasizing about a rebound when I lose. --- Sticking to discipline is indeed the biggest hurdle, much harder than learning the techniques. --- It’s not that I don’t understand, it’s just that at that moment my brain goes blank. --- Mental preparation really needs to start from the very beginning, otherwise, you’ll sink deeper and deeper. --- The feeling of losing everything, experiencing it once is enough, right? --- In critical moments, it tests human nature, and most people will kneel.
