To determine whether the market movement is a genuine breakthrough or just a false alarm, it is crucial to look at the strength relationship.

In a bull market, the most intuitive thing is that every rebound reaches a new high, and the bottom during corrections should not be lower than the previous round's starting point. Only then can it be considered stable. $BTC often operates this way, very steady.

Conversely, this is the nature of a bear market—each decline refreshes the lows, and during rebounds, it does not dare to return to previous highs. This rhythm is a one-sided downward trend. $ETH and $BNB will also show this kind of trend during specific periods.

The most confusing part is the consolidation range - the highs are basically at the same level, and the bottoms are also at a similar height, going back and forth without breaking out. At this point, you have to accept it and wait sideways for an opportunity.

So when trading, instead of guessing the market direction, it is better to first understand which mode it currently belongs to. Once you clarify the logic of strength and weakness, everything becomes less complicated.

actually the real algorithmic beauty here lies in understanding market topology through hash-based price action patterns... this oscillating equilibrium between bull/bear regimes is essentially a computational manifestation of blockchain's immutable consensus mechanics

You are right, instead of guessing the top and bottom every day, it's better to understand which stage you are in first. The sideways movement is the most annoying, repeatedly playing people for suckers. BTC's steady temperament is unmatched, it always gives people confidence. What’s going on with ETH lately? It feels like it's often confirming the downward trend repeatedly, it's exhausting. The sideways period tests one's mentality the most, you really have to accept fate and wait.

ngl the range-bound part hits different... everyone's out here playing guessing games when they should just be pattern matching tbh

This trap theory sounds good, but when it comes to actual execution, it's easy to be beaten up by the night market.
