I have seen too many people caught off guard by losses, and when asked about the root cause, I found out that they had never calculated how much they could lose at most.

I have organized a systematic position management framework, which simply means replacing feelings with numbers. Following this idea, Get Liquidated can be completely avoided.

**Level One: Set a "Maximum Loss Limit"**

Maximum single loss ≤ 1%-2% of the account total funds

Take a practical example: there is 10,000 U in the account, and I request that the maximum loss per transaction can only be 100 U.

This is not about what one can "accept mentally", but rather a mathematical law regarding the account.

**Level 2: Set Stop-Loss First, Then Calculate Position Size**

Assuming I want to operate $BTC perpetual, I plan to enter like this:
- Entry: 40,000
- Technical stop-loss level: 39,600
- Stop Loss Margin: 1%

At this stage, you are only planning on paper and haven't actually placed an order.

**Level 3: Reverse Calculate Maximum Position**

This is the key formula, remember it directly:

Position Value = Maximum Allowed Loss ÷ Stop Loss Ratio

Substituting data: 100 ÷ 1% = 10,000 U

The maximum position value for your order can be 10,000 U.

**Level 4: Leverage is the Last Resort**

Since the position is determined, the leverage can be finalized. If you choose 5x leverage:

Actual margin used = 10,000 ÷ 5 = 2,000 U

In other words, you only need a margin of 2,000 U, and in case the stop loss is hit, there will be 9,900 U left in the account.

**Level 5: Whether to take this trade depends on the risk-reward ratio**

The take-profit target is set at 41,200, with a 3% increase, and a profit of 300 U.

Loss set to 100 U.

Profit and Loss Ratio = 3:1

If the risk-reward ratio is lower than 2:1, do not touch even the most certain trades.

**Level 6: Ask Yourself These 5 Questions Before Placing an Order**

1. Have you really calculated the maximum loss?
2. Is my stop loss based on technical analysis or emotions?
3. Is the leverage decided at the last moment?
4. If the stop loss is triggered, can I hold on?
5. Will not doing this order affect the account?

If there's even one question you can't answer, then don't place this order.

**Why can this system prevent liquidation?**

Three reasons:

2️⃣ Leverage has become a tool, not a bet for a turnaround.
3️⃣ Emotions were isolated before placing the order
