I just updated to Gate v8.0.5, and my first impression is not "there are many new features", but rather a sentence: finally smooth. This smoothness is not visually flashy, but rather a noticeable reduction in resistance when you click around. The page loading speed, market refresh, and module switching are all smoother than before, especially when switching back and forth between market - trading - assets, the feeling of lag has significantly decreased.

The new version has made efforts in the interface hierarchy and information layout. The features on the homepage are more clearly aggregated, and frequently used entrances are positioned more prominently, eliminating the need to click through multiple steps to find desired functions. This adjustment is very user-friendly for long-time users and significantly lowers the learning curve for new users.
In terms of trading and market experience, the K-line loading speed is more stable, and the market data refreshes more coherently, especially noticeable in volatile markets, ensuring that delays won't cause missed judgments.

One of my personal favorite updates is that the overall operation path has been "compressed". Previously, completing a full operation required jumping back and forth between multiple pages, but now many steps are naturally connected together, making the experience feel more like a "continuous action".
