The Christmas holiday is approaching, and both the Hong Kong and US stock markets will be closed. Here are the key market closure times for everyone; friends who are trading during this period should remember to plan ahead.

Hong Kong stock market holiday schedule: Closed from the afternoon of December 24 (Wednesday), and no trading on December 25 and 26 (Thursday and Friday).

The US stock market is a bit special: it will close 3 hours early on the 24th (Wednesday) and will be closed all day on the 25th (Thursday).

Trading volume during holidays is usually lower, and liquidity is relatively tight. Traders can adjust their positions in advance to avoid slippage or other unnecessary troubles before and after the market closes. Take a good rest during the holidays; the market is not in a hurry.
