In crypto and beyond, you're always facing the same crossroads:

Do you build something genuinely new—or do you chase what's already working?

The innovator takes the risk. They see a gap, they experiment, they fail sometimes. Bitcoin wasn't "an improved PayPal alternative"—it reimagined what money could be. Uniswap didn't copy existing exchanges; it fundamentally changed how liquidity works.

The replicator? Faster execution, lower risk, immediate traction. But they're always one step behind, burning resources to catch up on someone else's vision.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: both can win short-term. The replicator sometimes grabs more market share early. But the innovator owns the narrative, the moat, the future.

The question isn't which is smarter—it's which aligns with your appetite for uncertainty. Pick your lane accordingly.

To put it bluntly, it's a gamble on life or a safe bet... I think most people talk about innovation, but actually want to follow the trend and pick up bargains, haha.

Innovation or duplication, to put it simply, is a matter of risk... I've seen through it for a long time, a bunch of people shouting innovation, but in the end, it's still just copy-paste; they dare to claim they are the next Uniswap just by changing a parameter.

To be honest, most projects are just skin-deep copies, but only those who dare to gamble can turn things around.
