Recently, there have been rumors online about a full amnesty for credit defaults, which sounds great, but the actual situation is not that simple.

The central bank did indeed announce a new policy on December 22 to implement a one-time credit repair. It sounds good, but looking closely at the conditions makes it interesting—the policy is very strict:

**Time Limit**: The overdue must occur within the period from 2020 to 2025. In other words, earlier black history cannot be erased.

**Amount Limit**: Not all overdue situations can be remedied; they must fall within a certain limit.

**There is another key premise**: it must be a "non-malicious delay." What is considered malicious? Deliberate evasion and behaviors of being a deadbeat count as such. Only delays caused by normal factors meet the conditions for repair.

In other words, this round of repair policies is very targeted, and the real beneficiaries are those individuals who have objective reasons for defaulting but have a good credit willingness. Those who completely commit loan fraud or have long-term defaults should not think they can be forgiven.

This also reminds everyone: the logic of the financial credit system is still very rigorous, there is no absolute "amnesty", only conditional restoration.

Oh dear, it's the same "amnesty" story again, giving me a headache. Basically, it's conditional welfare farming. Do real deadbeats want to clear their name? Dream on.

It's all a trap. Whatever the amnesty, it still depends on the Central Bank's mood and conditions.

It's another clickbait title, what amnesty... it's just a safety net for those who meet the criteria, the deadbeats can still just sleep it off.

It's another scam news, I knew it wouldn't be that simple, with a bunch of conditions.
