"A certain whale is about to buy the dip," I rushed in. As a result, the stock fell. "This coin can rise 10 times," a celebrity said, I went all in with my entire position. Now I'm tied up.

Such stories happen every day in the crypto market. Retail investors who can't withstand a bear market usually die on one issue — they can't distinguish between true and false information, taking market noise as trading signals.

A set of data is striking: in the bear market of 2025, negative reports in the crypto market surged by 200% year-on-year. Various rumors are flying on social media platforms, and celebrities are shouting "buy the dip" one moment and "crash" the next, scaring retail investors into panic selling. What about the truly useful information? Macro economic data, on-chain capital flows, project fundamentals - all drowned out by this garbage information.

A method I discovered on my own is to focus only on three types of information sources during a bear market: first, authoritative macro data channels; second, professional on-chain analysis tools, such as platforms that can track capital flows and changes in positions; third, official updates from project teams. I do not trust social media jokes or the mouthpieces of celebrities.

The key is to learn how to read. On-chain data is not about price fluctuations, but about how funds are moving and how large holders' positions are changing; project announcements are not just about marketing terms, but should focus on tangible things like technical progress and compliance dynamics.

The bear market is essentially an information war. Listen less to the noise and dig more for signals, so that decisions can be rational. If you are still dizzy among various messages, you might as well try this set of ideas.

I have long seen through the celebrity playing people for suckers; on-chain data is the real deal, social media is filled with garbage signals.

Indeed, celebrity rhetoric can be deadly. It's better to honestly look at on-chain data.

You're right, just listening to celebrity talk can really bankrupt someone. I only look at on-chain data and official announcements now, and I've muted all social media.

Really, just listen to what the celebrity says, don't take it as a decree.

I'm really tired of the celebrity's blabbering; it's still more reliable to look at the on-chain data myself.
