Layer 2 track integration accelerated, and an interesting phenomenon emerged.

Although new Layer 2 solutions are emerging one after another, there are very few projects that generate sustained user activity. Those new Rollups that rely on incentive mechanisms to attract users have seen their activity drop sharply after subsidies gradually exit. This reflects a clear Matthew effect within the ecosystem— a few leading Layer 2 solutions control the vast majority of users and liquidity, while the remaining projects fall into a state of ongoing marginalization. This trend of differentiation means that the key to future Layer 2 competition lies not in the number of projects, but in whether it is possible to build a truly sticky application ecosystem and user base.
