#比特币与黄金战争 $BTC $ETH $BIFI Recently, an interesting question has been repeatedly appearing in the community—will Bitcoin ultimately replace gold? Some say digital currencies are the future, while others insist on the fundamental value of gold. Both sides have their reasons, but the true answer might be more complex. Want to dive deeper into this topic and see what everyone thinks? It seems that the performance of Ethereum and other mainstream coins can also reflect the market's true attitude towards digital assets.

Bitcoin replacing gold? Wake up, that's just a false proposition. The two serve fundamentally different needs.

Bitcoin replacing gold? Wake up, volatility is right there, gold has been stable for thousands of years. ngl this question is a bit naive... BTC and gold are fundamentally two different things. Instead of worrying about whether it replaces gold or not, it's better to hold both and diversify risk—that's the real strategy. Ethereum's rise and fall have nothing to do with gold, can we stop confusing the concepts? If you really want to say, BTC is more like a risk asset, gold is the safe-haven ceiling, they are not in competition at all. Someone asks this question every week, I’m done... the community just loves creating false conflicts. Honestly overthinking it, institutions have already allocated to both, why insist on choosing just one?

nah this whole "btc vs gold" framing is a misdirect tbh... nobody's talking about the *real* problem—it's all about who's extracting value in the dark forest while we're debating store-of-value narratives. eth's "performance" you mentioned? that's just sandwich attacks and mev extraction wearing a fancy suit lol

Hmm... Based on the historical data of the past 120 months, the correlation coefficient between BTC and gold hovers around 0.3. Truly replacing? I think you need to allocate both. --- Gold has been around for five thousand years, and BTC is only a dozen years old trying to take the top spot? That's a bit too arrogant haha, but on the other hand, including both in a dollar-cost averaging portfolio indeed makes it more stable. --- Wait, have you considered that BTC is essentially a liquidity asset, while gold is the ultimate underlying asset? These two are not really the same thing. --- Instead of asking whether it can replace, why not check if there's enough space in your wallet? The answer might be right there. --- Oh my god, after calculating the Kelly formula, it seems like the market sentiment is hinting that we can open a small position now. Do you feel the same? --- Fun fact: Historically, whenever BTC fluctuates more than 30%, gold remains pretty steady. That's the complementary property. --- From a different perspective, instead of fighting for territory, it's better for each to shine. The scary part is when they both fall together...
