$INTC is aggressively undercutting $AMD on pricing

$INTC's Arrow Lake processors have seen price cuts exceeding 40% since launch, with the Core Ultra 5 245K dropping from $289.99 to roughly $150–$220, depending on the retailer

By comparison, $AMD's Ryzen 9 5900XT, based on the older Zen 3 architecture and limited to DDR4 memory, currently sells for $249–$309, making it significantly more expensive than Intel’s newer offerings

Despite these pricing advantages, $INTC continues to lose overall market share. According to Mercury Research, $AMD captured 30.9% of the x86 market in Q3 2025, up 6 percentage points year over year, with particularly strong gains in desktop processors, where $AMD now holds 33.6% market share
