Let's take a look at the wealth opportunities that have been captured over the past few decades.
The resumption of college entrance exams in 1977 was a turning point for many people. Then in 1982, Shenzhen opened up policies, and the city was full of untapped gold mines.
During the real estate boom, those who entered Shanghai Pudong in 1993 are now smiling happily. Later, in 1995, Beijing's siheyuan courtyards became highly sought after, and looking back, they are now hard currency.
When Moutai went public in 2001, those with foresight had already positioned themselves. The same logic continued until 2009, when Bitcoin was just emerging; few truly understood what it would become. In 2018, when the self-media boom arrived, anyone willing to get involved could share in the dividends. In recent years, gold prices have repeatedly hit new highs, and those with idle funds have seized another wave.
Every era filters for proactive people. Where will the opportunities of the next decade be? Maybe you've already passed by, or maybe you're still on your way.

Speaking of which, missing out on that Bitcoin wave was really quite regretful. I should have stocked up back then.

Honestly, back then, no one believed in Bitcoin. A bunch of people around me are still regretting it now.
If I had known to grab the cheap opportunity in 2009, I wouldn't be in this situation now.
People who bought property in Pudong early are probably making a fortune just by sleeping now, haha.
Will the next trend be AI? Feels like it might be too late to get in now.
Every time I see these retrospectives, it hits a bit hard. I know the opportunity is right in front of me, but I just can't react in time.

Honestly, watching these trending stories is like watching others' success stories... It's probably too late to get in now.

To be honest, that wave of Bitcoin in 2009 really slapped the face of the current me... If I had the courage to go all in back then, I would have made it.

ngl the bitcoin narrative in 2009 is basically the template for everything after... everyone's gonna claim they "saw it coming" but the real alpha was recognizing the sentiment shift before the masses caught on. curious what the next 10yr play actually is tho
