Spot Bitcoin ETFs lose $782 million during Christmas week
According to data from SoSoValue, spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a strong wave of withdrawals during Christmas week, totaling $782 million. Notably, on Friday, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of up to $276 million. BlackRock's IBIT fund led with nearly $193 million withdrawn, followed by Fidelity's FBTC fund with $74 million. Grayscale's GBTC fund also continued to see small withdrawals.
The total net asset value of listed US spot Bitcoin ETFs decreased to approximately $113.5 billion on Friday, significantly below the peak of over $120 billion in early December, even as Bitcoin prices remained stable around $87,000.
