Privacy protection is a topic that will inevitably explode sooner or later. The driving forces come from multiple aspects: increasing regulatory pressure, continuous tightening of tax policies, and the growing security threats to ultra-wealthy individuals in the physical world. But the question is, after all this hype and years of shouting, what’s the result? Promises that have fallen flat everywhere.

Looking back at the previous cycle, ZEC had a moment of popularity, but privacy projects like TORN and RAIL never truly gained momentum. Technology continues to iterate and upgrade, and market sentiment is also shifting. In this cycle, the privacy narrative should be reactivated, accompanied by entirely new privacy innovation projects.

What’s even more worth paying attention to is the FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) track. If ZK is the major concept of the last round, then FHE is somewhat the parallel thread of this round. Zama, as the strongest technical team in this field, is building the infrastructure for this direction. The combination of privacy and encrypted computation might be the real opportunity for the second half of Web3.

ZEC Napo is indeed just loud noise with little substance... Now they're starting to hype privacy again? I think we still need to wait for FHE to truly land before believing it. Privacy projects have been around for so many years; hype aside, are there any truly useful projects? The FHE trail is indeed interesting; Zama is seriously developing something, unlike some projects that just tell stories. Another round of new concepts to cut the leeks? But the upgrade logic from zk to FHE is still understandable. Broken promises are common; the key is whether there is a team really building. This round of privacy gains really depend on bottom-layer innovations like FHE; just changing the coin name won't work. When there's more money, privacy naturally becomes necessary, but when the market will accept this is a mystery. When regulations tighten, privacy gets hot, but how long it can stay hot is still uncertain. That wave of zk didn't take off; can FHE go far... Honestly, it still depends on application scenarios.

Privacy has been hyped for too long. After the ZEC wave passed, there was no more noise, and TORN and RAIL have long since sunk to the bottom. They sound good but are rarely used in reality, this is the current situation. FHE is an interesting direction, but I don't want to get cut. The last round of ZK hype has burst, what can they hype up this time? Zama's team is indeed capable, but I'm worried it might just be another PPT project. It seems that a real breakout will only happen if regulators really crack down; otherwise, it's all talk. Honestly, I'm more concerned about what will be the next to rise, no matter how appealing the privacy narrative sounds, it can't be exchanged for cash.

Speaking of ZEC, that wave was indeed a flash in the pan... Now they want to hype privacy again? Feels like a broken record, same old tune with a different name. FHE is interesting, but whether Zama can really turn this into something is still uncertain. TORN and RAIL have long become irrelevant, no need to step into those pits again, friends. The ZK wave didn't do much either, why think FHE this time will be any different? The privacy track is just a trap, the kind where you curse it and then keep buying.

Oh no, it's the same narrative again. Why does it feel so familiar? I’ve heard it every round. Back in the ZEC days, it was real. But now? Still a mess. FHE is quite new, but can Zama really break the deadlock...? I have my doubts.

Trust me, the FHE track is the real booster, ZK has already been overhyped We've seen the ZEC wave before, now we're just waiting for Zama to trigger this round of launch window Privacy narratives are over, encrypted computing is the real deal for moon landing This time is different, the tech stack has been completely upgraded, get ready to load supplies After such a long unfulfilled promise, it's about time FHE delivers Honestly, Zama is quietly building infrastructure, and it will be too late when the big fire starts We've all been through the pitfalls after ZEC, this time there's a real chance to break out of the atmosphere

Privacy projects this wave probably will be loud but with little substance; ZEC is cooling off, TORN and RAIL even more so. But FHE seems interesting, gotta keep an eye on Zama. --- It's the same rhetoric again, every cycle shouting privacy, privacy, but in the end, retail investors still suffer heavy losses. --- Is FHE the real opportunity? What about when ZK was discussed before... don’t tell me it’s just another overhyped concept. --- If Zama can really develop FHE, that would be revolutionary, but it’s still too early to say that. --- Promises full of empty words, too true. The privacy track is just a big pit. --- By the way, why do these privacy projects never gain momentum? Is it technical issues or market problems? --- FHE and ZK run in parallel. Zama’s team is indeed strong, but whether that can translate into a price increase is still uncertain. --- The biggest opportunity in Web3’s second half is actually to harvest the fools; don’t be fooled by the narrative.
