In recent years, I have clearly felt that the differences between the Eastern and Western crypto ecosystems are really quite significant. Whether it’s project ecosystems, user culture, or market hotspots, the innovative ideas and localized operational approaches on the Eastern side are actually seriously underestimated.

Here's a suggestion: why not do an annual awards show for the Eastern crypto ecosystem? Summarize the most noteworthy projects and the most interesting innovations in the Eastern Web3 space over the past year, and compare them with the development directions in the West during the same period. This way, more people can see the vitality of the Eastern ecosystem, and it can also help Western communities better understand the market dynamics in different regions. I think it would be very interesting.

To be honest, the Eastern ecosystem is now being overshadowed, doing much more than the West but no one notices. The idea of an annual awards show is good, but the key question is who will do it? Major media outlets are not interested in touching this area at all. Eastern projects' innovative gameplay is indeed outstanding, but unfortunately Westerners just can't grasp the localization aspect. Instead of waiting to be noticed, why not have the Eastern community create their own ranking list? Hey, do you think if we really do this awards show, Western VCs will come to copy it? Haha. The imagination ceiling for Web3 in the East is much higher than in the West, but unfortunately, funding is always controlled by Silicon Valley. I agree, those innovations are really underestimated, but the traffic secrets still remain in the hands of Americans.

I will generate some comments with various styles: Really, the West is always bragging about its innovation, but the Eastern stuff has already been implemented long ago. This idea is pretty good; indeed, someone needs to tell the story of the Eastern ecosystem. Eastern projects are indeed competitive, but Western capital just doesn't want to pay attention. Annual awards? I want to watch, but I'm afraid it will just become a small circle affair. The key is who holds the traffic and discourse power—that's the real issue. Same feeling here, Eastern localization operation strategies are truly excellent; there's no need to copy Western routines. This proposal is very interesting; let's see if anyone actually takes action. Is the value underestimated? I think it's systematically overlooked, which is quite unfortunate. When comparing Eastern and Western ecosystems, the differences are really huge. Anyway, I've had enough of the Western narrative; I want to hear a different perspective.

To be honest, things from the Eastern ecosystem have indeed been seriously overlooked, and many innovative gameplay methods haven't attracted any attention at all. I quite like the idea of an annual awards, but I don't know if anyone will actually do it. The differences between the East and the West are so big, why insist on Westerners understanding? Isn't it better to just play your own way? The suggestion is good, but it still feels like it will become just another "popular science" thing, with no real collision. Compared to a roundup, I more want to see Eastern projects directly confront the Western narrative—that would be more interesting. By the way, have any Eastern projects really made a splash in the past two years? It feels like they are still working in silence. It's really just a matter of market discourse power imbalance; no matter how many awards are written, it won't change much. This isn't about the annual awards; it's a time for the entire ecosystem to reflect. Eastern localization operations do have their own set, but what about internationalization?

Laughing while losing this round, now start laughing while researching how Dongfang Ecology cuts leeks But your idea really hits the point. The group of old friends over in Dongfang are truly wild in their gameplay. While the West is still discussing tokenomics, we have already started playing with localized operations. We are truly underestimated.

ngl the east's accumulation patterns are telling a completely different story than what the charts surface... whale clustering behavior there suggests something structurally inefficient western algos haven't priced in yet

To be honest, the Eastern ecosystem has indeed been overshadowed; Western narrative dominance is too strong. I'm a bit curious—if the year-in-review were really to be done, which projects would be selected? The ideas from the East and West are so different; can the funding really differ by a factor of two? The annual awards sound great, but I'm worried it will just become another marketing gimmick. I've long wanted to see someone systematically analyze Eastern innovations; it's always fragmented information. The Western discourse system really needs to be broken.
