Flow team recently issued a statement regarding the security vulnerability incident on December 27 and the joint response efforts with major exchanges. Since the day the incident was exposed, Flow has been working closely with global exchanges with a clear goal — to protect user funds and restore platform operations.

But here’s the issue: Flow has expressed clear concern about the attitude of a certain leading exchange in handling this matter. The situation is as follows — within just a few hours after the vulnerability was exposed, an account deposited a total of 150 million FLOW tokens, then exchanged a large amount for BTC, and finally successfully withdrew over $5 million.

What does this operational process reveal? Simply put, it shows that this exchange’s AML/KYC processes have obvious vulnerabilities. As a result, the Flow Foundation has directly requested a meeting with the top management of the exchange, intending to fundamentally address the issues within their anti-money laundering and identity verification systems. The case has now been handed over to law enforcement authorities for investigation.

For users, this also serves as a wake-up call — the difference in risk control capabilities among exchanges is really significant. When choosing a platform, it’s important to look at their security certification systems and fund protection measures.

150 million FLOW tokens were withdrawn within a few hours? How outrageous is this risk control? --- If top-tier exchanges operate like this, our small retail investors really need to be more cautious. --- AML/KYC is practically useless? That needs a thorough investigation. --- That's why I never keep coins on exchanges. Isn't a cold wallet better? --- Flow was bold this time, directly holding the highest level accountable. It’s the right move. --- $5 million just slipped away like that. Feels like there's an insider. --- Choosing an exchange is even harder than choosing a coin. Security > Liquidity. --- The vulnerability was exploited for profit in just a few hours, showing how slow the response was.

150 million FLOW can be cashed out to $5 million in just a few hours? How big is this risk control loophole? I'm embarrassed for them. The exchange's AML is just for show, I saw through it a long time ago. Now it's all happening again—another round of FUD. My position is about to collapse.

15 million FLOW in a few hours, and you can cash out $5 million? This exchange's KYC is just for show.

Damn, the AML of a certain leading exchange is completely ineffective. How unprofessional do you have to be to allow a withdrawal of 5 million within a few hours?

150 million FLOW can be cashed out for 5 million in just a few hours? The KYC of this exchange is just for show haha --- That's why I absolutely refuse to put my coins on exchanges. The risk control capabilities are so inconsistent, it's terrifying --- This time Flow directly contacted the top management. It seems they've really been disgusted. Some leading exchanges should learn their lesson --- Damn, how come some people can react so quickly to cash out from the same vulnerability? AML is a joke --- Choosing an exchange really depends on integrity. Fund security can't be compromised --- So this is why big players use cold wallets. The water in exchanges is too deep
