Look at Bitcoin's performance over the past ten years at the beginning of each year.
In 2013, it was only 755 USD; in 2014, it was halved to 320 USD — at that time, many people were bearish. But then it gradually recovered, reaching 430 USD in 2015, and breaking the thousand-dollar mark to 965 USD in 2016.
The real takeoff started in 2017. It surged to 14,155 USD at the beginning of the year, shocking everyone. Although it fell to 3,740 USD in 2018, appearing somewhat bleak, resilient investors held on.
In 2019, it slightly rebounded to 7,195 USD, and in 2020, it more than tripled to 29,000 USD. This upward trend continued into 2021, with the price standing at 49,305 USD at the start of the year. However, the 2022 bear market crushed the price to 16,595 USD, causing many to doubt everything again.
But look at now — early 2023, it’s at 42,560 USD, and in 2024, it’s heading towards 95,650 USD. By early 2025, it slightly retraced to 87,580 USD, but compared to ten years ago, it’s a world apart. This is the true reflection of Bitcoin’s cycle.
