After years of navigating the crypto world, every loss is a tuition fee. Today, I’ve整理ed the truly effective trading insights over the years, hoping that newcomers can avoid some detours.

When it comes to trading, the core principles are actually these five:

**Survive to make money; risk control always comes first**

Control drawdowns first, then think about profits. Many people do the opposite, resulting in their accounts being wiped out in one wave. Money management is your life-saving talisman — small mistakes are tolerable, but continuous big mistakes are unforgivable, let alone getting carried away temporarily. Once emotions spiral out of control, your account can be gone in minutes.

**Follow the trend, don’t try to guess the bottom or top**

Enter decisively when market trends are clear; be patient and wait when conditions aren’t right. Many failures come from this — always trying to catch the lowest or highest point, only to get chopped up repeatedly. Without clear signals, stay on the sidelines.

**Only take high-probability trades, avoid overtrading**

True trading masters share a common trait: they take very few trades. When the market isn’t clear, don’t act. Like a sniper, wait for the most confident shot. Those who spray and pray with machine guns will ultimately be taught a lesson by the market.

**Systems are just frameworks; execution is productivity**

Consistent profits must be built on a complete trading system, but the system itself doesn’t generate profits — strict discipline in execution does. This is the difference between knowing and doing, and the dividing line between making money and not.

**Mindset cultivation, a lifelong lesson**

No one can completely avoid drawdowns and losses. The key is how you treat them — no complaints, no emotional swings, and not just focusing on data that favors you. Objectively face the market and honestly acknowledge your shortcomings. Remember, in this market, you can only rely on yourself.

The crypto world is indeed full of uncertainties, but opportunities are always reserved for those who are calm and disciplined. Keep a steady mindset, use the right methods, and you can last longer and go further in this market.

Knowing what to do is easy, but actually doing it and sticking to it is really difficult...

That's right, the hardest part is execution. Knowing the theory is easy, but only a few can stay calm after enduring several waves of pullbacks.

That's right, you have to stay alive to keep playing. Going all-in and clearing the account in one shot is just too much. --- When it comes to high win rates, you hit the nail on the head. My biggest lesson is being careless; I couldn't understand and just had to join in, ending up getting cut the worst. --- Execution is indeed the dividing line. No matter how good the system is, if you don't follow through, it's the same as not having it. That's where the difficulty lies. --- I've fallen into the trap of guessing bottoms and tops, losing quite a bit before I realized how crucial it is to act only when the trend is clear. --- Regarding mental training, honestly, without several years of being beaten down, this problem can't be fixed. I'm still working on it myself. --- It sounds very right, but truly capable people are few and far between. Most still fall prey to their emotions. --- The phrase "Risk control is always the first" should be engraved in your mind. Many people have reset everything just because they ignored this.
