A federal court in the United States dismissed a class-action lawsuit against Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks. The lawsuit accused them of defrauding investors by promoting the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency lending company Voyager Digital. Judge Roy K. Altman dismissed all claims filed by the plaintiffs under state securities laws and consumer fraud laws. Voyager Digital held approximately $1.3 billion in crypto assets and went bankrupt in 2022 amid the overall market downturn triggered by the Terra blockchain collapse.
