Yield Basis (YB) is a new DeFi mechanism created by the founder of Curve. It utilizes leverage to eliminate impermanent loss in AMMs. YB has supported the three major BTC DEX liquidity pools in the DeFi space, with a total size of over $400 million, enabling wrapped BTC holders to earn yields by providing liquidity. The seven-day average yield rate ranges from 4% to 40%. The protocol's fee switching feature has been enabled, offering liquidity providers (LP) two options: transaction fees denominated in BTC or staking YB tokens. YB aims to provide yield and liquidity infrastructure for wrapped assets and tokenized RWA, and by offering deep liquidity and yield options, it is expected to unlock the potential of commodity and stock markets.
