Recently, I’ve noticed an interesting phenomenon—more and more blockchain projects are taking "privacy" and "compliance" seriously, despite these two concepts seeming contradictory. Dusk Network is one such project, and it has been deeply committed to this path since 2018.

First, let's talk about the technical foundation. Dusk employs two hardcore technologies to build its Layer1 infrastructure. One is the Isolated Byzantine Agreement (SBA), and the other is PLONK zero-knowledge proof technology. In simple terms, this combination ensures high throughput while achieving true transaction privacy protection. More importantly, it natively supports confidential smart contracts—meaning that enterprises wanting to deploy sensitive financial applications on-chain can meet regulatory requirements without compromising security.

After discussing the technology, let’s look at the implementation. After the mainnet launch in 2024, Dusk’s ecosystem has been quite active. In partnership with NPEX, they launched Europe’s first blockchain-driven compliant securities exchange, which integrates features that impress traditional finance practitioners—such as real-time securities clearing and automated dividend distribution. These processes, which typically require T+2 or longer in traditional systems, are settled instantly on-chain. Additionally, they have integrated Chainlink oracles and a zero-trust custody solution, providing secure and compliant technical support for on-chain assets like real estate and intellectual property.

On the data front, as of early 2026, Dusk’s circulating market cap stands at $28.1 million, with a 24-hour increase of over 16%. Interestingly, nearly 30% of the circulating supply is staked to participate in network consensus, indicating active ecosystem engagement.

Regarding token economics, DUSK is not just an air token; its utility design is quite comprehensive. Paying Gas fees and staking for node rewards are basic functions. In the future, it will also be incorporated into on-chain governance, serving as a credential for ecosystem decision-making. Recently, the Sozu liquid staking platform launched, lowering the participation threshold—users can stake and earn rewards without running their own nodes. This innovation helps attract small and medium investors.

From a macro perspective, Dusk is attempting to unlock the on-chain potential of Europe’s $40 trillion securities market. Using decentralized infrastructure to break traditional financial intermediaries sounds somewhat idealistic, but based on existing cooperation with NPEX, the path is at least clear. With the expansion of cross-chain interoperability and enterprise-level applications, Dusk still has significant potential in the privacy finance track.

Once again, I'm a step behind. I started focusing on privacy compliance back in 2018, and I only just saw this now... Never mind, I need to seriously look into what this PLONK zero-knowledge proof is all about.

Wait, you started focusing on privacy compliance back in 2018? Why does it seem so low-key? I haven't heard any news before, and now suddenly you're taking action? The combination of privacy + compliance sounds good, but can it really be implemented? How can traditional finance people be so easily convinced? This wave of Sozu liquid staking indeed lowers the barrier, and a 30% staking rate also indicates that the market acceptance is still there. The imagination space of Europe's 40 trillion securities market is truly huge, provided that we can survive until that day.

Privacy + compliance combo is truly impressive. It has been laid out since 2018, and now we are finally seeing results. That T+2 second settlement at NPEX securities exchange—how much traditional finance would have to spend to achieve that? This is what blockchain should look like.

Privacy + Compliance is truly a perfect combination. I used to think these two couldn't coexist... Dusk is indeed doing something real this time, not just hype. My comment: The ability to settle instantly is quite impressive; the traditional T+2 system really needs to be improved. Six years of accumulation is not for nothing. From 2018 to now, they've been working on real projects. The circulating market cap isn't high, but the staking rate is so strong that it shows confidence is still there. Has the European securities market really gone on-chain? It still feels a bit far off. Launching Sozu liquid staking indeed lowers the barrier to entry, allowing more people to participate. Zero-knowledge proofs + privacy transactions—this setup is still scarce nowadays. But the claim of 40 trillion is a bit optimistic; traditional finance migration isn't that fast. If confidential smart contracts can truly become widespread, the potential for enterprise-level applications is enormous. Will NPEX's partnership projects succeed? With Europe's strict regulations, that's the real benchmark. Tokens with real utility, unlike some air coins, at least have something backing them.

Privacy + Compliance combo, it sounds like someone is saying they want to eat fish but don't want the smell... However, Dusk has indeed been working seriously over the past few years, and the NPEX case doesn't really look like just talk. Nearly 30% staking indicates that some people truly believe, but it's unclear how long it can last.

Is privacy + compliance really a win-win? I don't think so; the traditional financial folks won't compromise that easily. PLONK zero-knowledge proofs sound high-end, but how much cost they can actually save for enterprises depends on subsequent data. A 30% staking rate isn't low, but with a market cap of $28.1 million in the face of Europe's $40 trillion temptation, it's still a bit risky. Lowering the liquid staking threshold is a good move, but I'm worried it might just be another trap for retail investors. The NPEX case was hyped up a lot; who can publicly share how the actual trading volume is? European compliant securities exchanges are active every day; why can Dusk break through? Honestly, it still depends on the token's liquidity on the chain; otherwise, it's all just on paper. Zero-trust custody sounds very secure, but who takes the blame if there's a hacker attack? Privacy and compliance are inherently at odds; I’ll keep an eye on this project to see if they can reconcile them. This round increased by 16%; we need to watch closely if the subsequent arbitrage traders will run away.

The秒 settlement is indeed impressive; the traditional T+2 process in finance really should be phased out. --- Wait, can privacy and compliance really be satisfied at the same time? I'm a bit skeptical. --- A 30% staking rate isn't low; it at least indicates genuine participants are involved. --- Europe's 40 trillion market size is quite ambitious, but the NPEX case can be considered a solid proof. --- Sozu's liquid staking launch indeed lowers the barrier, making it easier for small and medium investors to participate. --- Privacy finance is an interesting path, but will regulators create some kind of obstacle again? --- A circulating market cap of $28.1 million... small pool, and the hype seems a bit exaggerated. --- How is the confidential smart contract technically implemented? Can it truly be private and secure? --- Since 2018, we've accumulated some experience; finally seeing some results. --- A market size of 40 trillion, if it can really be tapped into, DUSK still has potential.

Privacy + Compliance combination... to be honest, I've heard it too many times, but does Dusk seem to be serious this time? A 30% staking rate does show some sincerity, unlike some projects that are just harvesting users. --- A project that started deep cultivation in 2018, and now it’s gaining popularity... Mainland China’s ups and downs, early pioneers are always buried in history. --- I have to admit I don’t fully understand the concept of confidential smart contracts, but if it can truly bring traditional finance on-chain without violating regulations, the potential value and imagination space are quite large. --- Wait, a 16% increase in 24 hours? Why didn’t I catch this train... once again missing the rhythm of bottom consensus? --- Sozu liquid staking was launched and immediately became popular. It seems the community is really working hard on real products, not just empty talk. --- Honestly, it still depends on whether it can truly be implemented. Beautiful words anyone can say, but the NPEX case doesn’t look like a PPT project. --- The European market... this approach is a bit different. Instead of following the traditional US route, they’re daring to tap into the European market. Truly bold.
