The blockchain computation scaling protocol TrueBit has suffered a security incident. According to official confirmation, malicious attackers exploited a vulnerability to successfully steal 8,535 ETH, which is approximately $26 million USD at current exchange rates. The protocol token immediately plummeted to zero.

The incident occurred recently. After a large amount of ETH was anomalously withdrawn, TrueBit's official team issued a security warning, clearly stating that the affected smart contracts pose significant risks and strongly advising users to immediately cease interactions with these contracts.

This incident once again exposes potential vulnerabilities in smart contract deployment. Hackers precisely targeted vulnerable contracts and completed large-scale fund withdrawals within a few hours. From the methods used, it is evident that the attackers had an in-depth understanding of the target protocol architecture and were able to bypass initial security mechanisms.

It is worth noting that this is not an isolated event. Security incidents in the cryptocurrency space have been frequent in recent times. Similar large-scale thefts continue to shake investor confidence and serve as a reminder for developers and users to be more cautious about contract risks. Projects that have experienced historic security breaches often take months or even years to rebuild community trust.

For TrueBit users, the immediate priority is to check whether they have interacted with the affected contracts and to take timely risk mitigation measures. The entire ecosystem should learn from this incident, strengthening contract auditing processes and risk monitoring mechanisms.

I'm just wondering, who got hacked? --- Another smart contract vulnerability, this routine is so tired --- $26 million just disappeared like that, tokens directly went to zero, outrageous --- Every time they say lessons learned, but next time it's the same old story... --- Quickly check your interaction records, don't get caught in the crossfire --- Why is TrueBit so bad, didn't even pass a proper audit? --- Regarding contract security, it seems a fundamental reform is needed --- The hacker understands the architecture so deeply, feels like an insider --- Just a few hours to withdraw over 8,000 ETH, such efficiency --- Another project will take years to recover, how strong must investors' mentality be

Here we go again, TrueBit directly wiped out, losing $26 million Tokens dropped straight to zero? How brutal is that Really, every time I see such incidents, I feel even more fortunate not to have participated Over 8,500 ETH lost within a few hours, hackers are indeed professional That's why I say don't touch protocols you don't understand

Here it is, endless again --- 26 million USD just gone like that, outrageous --- Tokens directly plummeting to zero? How badly did this blood loss hit --- I keep saying that auditing can't be taken lightly, another real-life lesson --- Every time, hackers understand the architecture better than developers, so ironic --- Oh my, if someone had a heavy position, it would be over --- Contract auditing really needs to spend money on experts; saving that money can lead to such huge losses --- Feels like these incidents are happening more and more frequently --- I just want to know how these hackers find vulnerabilities, how familiar they must be --- Another smart contract issue, come on --- How will TrueBit turn things around this time? Basically no chance --- Users should hurry and run, don’t wait for tokens to hit zero --- This operation is a textbook example of perfect theft

This is outrageous, another smart contract failure Tokens directly wiped out? Truly incredible, $26 million just gone TrueBit is probably done this time, trust has completely collapsed The hacker's method seems to have a pretty high threshold, requiring a deep understanding of the protocol I just want to ask, where are those over 8000 ETH right now... Another "suggestion to stop interaction" notification, every time I see this message I get a heart attack Repeated incidents like this really destroy people's confidence; audits are simply unreliable Someone should have regulated smart contracts properly by now, it's just like a casino

Another one got exposed, TrueBit is really gone this time --- 20 million gone, and it's over. The token directly drops to zero. This is what they call a scalability solution --- Hackers understand the architecture better than the officials, how embarrassing is that --- I just want to know who is still using this thing that hasn't run away yet --- Looking at this pace, are audits of Ethereum-based projects just a formality? --- We should have been alert earlier. How many times have we fallen into similar traps? --- When the token drops to zero, you know it's truly rotten through --- Strengthening the security audit process? Let's fix the existing vulnerabilities first, shall we? --- Trust needs to be rebuilt again. That's just how this circle works, cycle after cycle --- What to remind? Those who should be cut early have already been cut

Here comes another one, this time directly wiped out --- TrueBit really pulled out, who still dares to touch these small protocols --- $26 million lost, is this the current state of Web3? --- No wonder everyone plays on CEX, self-custody wallets are too risky --- Even after passing audits, can they still be hacked? What’s the point of code audits? --- Quickly check your wallet, don’t become the next victim --- From Poly to TrueBit, when will it end? --- Hackers make more than miners, this business is really profitable --- Where’s the promised smart contract security? What a joke
