Just now, while organizing my computer folders, I accidentally found a diary I wrote in 2022.

At that time, I was 22 years old, just out of school and entering the workforce for an internship. I rented a small single room to live in, and from that point on, I started experiencing independent living on my own.

Before college, during primary and secondary school, I was a day student because I lived close to home, in a small coastal city on the fourth tier. I didn’t travel far or attend boarding school, so I can say I had always been in a communal environment.

When I first started living alone, I inevitably felt a strong sense of loneliness and discomfort. However, as time went on and I experienced more things, I gradually adapted to this lifestyle and even began to enjoy it.

As I wrote in my diary at the time, “Most of life is spent alone, so the sooner we adapt to this environment, the more it will help our future.”

To grow quickly, you must first learn to be independent, step out of the comfort zone, and explore environments full of the unknown!
