Crypto trading can make money, but it's never about luck and heartbeat.

I know a trader whose account started with only 900U. He never waited for a hundredfold coin miracle, nor relied on overnight wealth. He simply followed a carefully crafted trading strategy, strictly executed take-profit and stop-loss, and within three months, his account grew to 30,000U.

This is not a myth. It’s the result of discipline. Later, his account never experienced a liquidation, and his assets remained stably above 64,000U for a long time. Throughout the process, risk control was always in place, allowing profits to accumulate steadily.

There are three core principles behind this:

**First: Position sizing, the foundation of survival**

Never fully leverage your position. That 900U was divided into three parts, each 300U. One part for day trading—monitor it daily, take profits when targets are hit, and don’t be greedy; one part for swing trading—hold for ten to fifteen days, seize big moves; the last part as a core holding—regardless of market movements, don’t touch it, keep the confidence to turn the tide.

Many people start with full leverage, and when prices drop, they get wiped out, losing the market’s trust before they even make money.

**Second: Capture big profits, avoid reckless trading in sideways markets**

Crypto markets spend about 80% of the time sideways. Frequent trading is just giving money to the market. The smart approach is to wait during sideways periods, and only act when the trend becomes clear. After making profits, cash out promptly—take 30% of gains when profits exceed 20%, and lock in the rest. True experts don’t trade every day; they know when to wait.

**Third: Control emotions, replace feelings with rules**

The biggest risk in trading is emotional decision-making. So, set rules in advance: place a stop-loss at 2%, and cut decisively when hit—never hold through a loss; take profit at 5% and reduce positions to lock in gains; even if you’re losing, don’t add to your position—adding only increases the risk of being trapped. Establish rules beforehand, follow the plan strictly, and don’t let emotions mess up your account.

Growing 900U into 64,000U relies on a system that locks in risk and lets profits grow slowly. There are no shortcuts—only discipline.

That's right, discipline is truly the strongest capital. I used to be someone who traded frequently, and as a result, transaction fees and slippage ate up more than half of the profits. It wasn't until later that I realized sometimes doing nothing is the best move.

That's right. I've seen too many people go all-in with full positions and then disappear completely. Discipline is the key.

That's right, going all-in is suicidal; diversification is the way to go.

It's really about position segregation; how many people can't listen? They have to blow up their position once to understand.

That's right, those who are fully invested are just eating dirt. Diversifying is the real way to survive.

Exactly right, full position is just asking for death. That's how I blew up before. --- Position sizing, stop-loss, not adding to the position... all correct, but really hard to execute, emotional control is the toughest part. --- $64,000 USD steadily, this is the right way, much more reliable than those who shout about getting rich overnight every day. --- The problem is most people can't stick to it for three months. When volatility hits, they hold on, and a single limit-down causes total loss. --- Discipline, discipline—easy to say but deadly to do, but there's really no other way. --- Honestly, just look at this case to see why there are so many newbies in the crypto world. It's not that the coins are bad, but people's execution is too poor. --- The 2% stop-loss setting is good; I need to change my rules. My current setting is too wide.

Sounds good, but honestly, turning 900 bucks into 30,000 in three months still depends on good market conditions. The real challenge is holding steady without adding to the position.
