Just getting started in the cryptocurrency world, learned a lot today. The Bitcoin system is indeed interesting——completely decentralized, with no central bank as an intermediary, and a total of only 21 million coins, a fixed supply. It operates on a proof-of-work mechanism, where miners issue new coins through mining, and all transactions are recorded on the blockchain, transparent and unchangeable. Basically, it's a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, where value transfer doesn't require banks or other intermediaries. This kind of intermediary-free transaction method is something that traditional finance can hardly even imagine.

Decentralization sounds great, but there are probably only a few people who can truly accept it without third-party protection.

Damn, 21 million coins are fixed? Then the price must skyrocket in the future, just depends on who gets on board first.

Dealing with intermediaries indeed hits the core of traditional finance, but the 21 million cap is really tough.

It's really impressive that there's no central bank intervention, but the key still depends on whether it can truly become widespread later on.

Decentralization is truly awesome; no central bank middlemen to skim off the top—it's fantastic.

Really, understanding this logic for the first time feels pretty satisfying; no one can move your coins, that's the ultimate advantage.
