Looking at the BSC meme wave this time, I feel like I've gone back to early 2021. Back then, animal concept coins were everywhere, and the market was like it had been injected with adrenaline. Now, it’s a different look—Chinese narratives, local culture, internet memes—essentially still fighting for market attention.

I’ve studied these on-chain tokens. Black Horse, Laozi, Trump... each has its own story: Black Horse sells the fantasy of sudden wealth, Laozi is wrapped in Sichuan dialect to add a philosophical flavor, and Trump simply rides on the heat of “Dumb King.” Based on capital flow and candlestick charts, some are definitely being manipulated, but more often it’s market participants spreading organically.

The hard part is, when will a phenomenon-level meme appear? No one can predict accurately. DOGE was like that back then—multiple factors suddenly resonated, and it took off unexpectedly. Now, approaching the New Year, with the festive atmosphere and the end-of-year capital game, it’s indeed easier to trigger risk appetite. But that’s not a sufficient condition.

After over a year playing the meme market, I’ve found that the ones who ultimately win are often not the most favored. The market loves to create surprises, just like PEPE’s rise—initially, hardly anyone could foresee its explosive power. Currently, these coins seem more like they’re laying the groundwork for the real stars. Who can break through the encirclement ultimately depends on the community’s consensus and the viral spreading ability. These two factors are what truly determine life or death.
MEME-10,44%
老子-32,87%
TRUMP-6,2%
DOGE-7,38%

It's the same old story... changing the surface but not the substance, really. Last year, I lost two months' salary on Black Horse, and now these new coins seem even more outrageous. Damn it, you're right, the winners are always the unexpected ones. I'm just waiting to be proven wrong.

Dark horses like Laozi, Trump, and others are all here to grab attention. The same old skin change from 2021 is back again, really no new ideas. Wait, you said the final winners are not the ones who are favored? Why do I feel like you still need to bet on community consensus to succeed. The probability of a phenomenon-level meme appearing is not as reliable as me bottom-fishing for Dogecoin. This wave of risk appetite in the New Year is indeed high, but the bubble being blown up is also about to burst, who knows when it will break. To be honest, memes are just casinos; no one can predict them. Playing by gut feeling is the real principle.

Black Horse Laozi Trump this set of combo punches, to be honest, is just repeating the story of 2021, rebranding it as something new I'm just worried that in the end nothing will take off, and instead a coin in some unnoticed corner will suddenly soar Community consensus is really a mystical thing, sometimes it's just fate Whether a dark horse can emerge this round depends on luck in these last few days of the year I want to wait and see, after all, it's all just fireworks

The 2021 cycle is also when I was involved. Looking at these coins now, I really get a sense of déjà vu. Same old story, different packaging. Dark horses, the old man, Trump take turns to appear. Basically, it's about whose narrative can brainwash more. But your point is pretty good; in the end, the winner is often the one no one expects. The lesson from PEPE is still fresh. This round of BSC memes still feels like something is missing. Everyone who’s in now is just gambling on luck.

Well said. Essentially, it's just a change of packaging without changing the substance—just new tricks to fleece retail investors. The dark horse Trump wave was indeed driven behind the scenes by someone, but retail investors just can't see through it. I also realized too late about PEPE last time and missed out. Now I'm more cautious. Wait, Trump's coin riding the hype is really clever; when the market is bad, it can still boost sentiment through public opinion. The key is community consensus. Coins without consensus, no matter how good their story, are useless. Anyway, I won't touch this round of memes. It feels like they're just paving the way for big players. At the end of the year, this kind of psychology is easy to trigger a gamble, but probability theory tells me to cut losses. Phenomenal memes are rare; after DOGE, I haven't seen any real miracles. So, do you currently hold any positions, or are you just watching the show?

Honestly, I experienced the wave in 2021 too, and this current pattern is just a new bottle with the same old wine. Dark Horse, Laozi, Trump—these names all sound like stories, but it feels like a gamble on who can take off. It's really hard to predict. The biggest lesson I learned from playing with memes last year is that the winners are not always the ones who are hottest at the start. Who would have thought about PEPE back then... Now, these coins still seem to be in the laying stage. Community consensus and viral dissemination—basically, these two factors determine life or death; everything else is superficial. But the New Year atmosphere does tend to boost risk appetite. Use your own judgment if you understand.

nah the real alpha isn't in the obvious narratives tho, it's in the MEV dynamics nobody's pricing in yet. these CNY-denominated memes are just noise masking the actual inefficiency vectors buried in the liquidity pools.

The wave in 2021, I was also there. Now this feeling is indeed somewhat familiar, just a change of packaging without changing the substance. I am optimistic about Trump. Riding the hype directly is smart, and it can attract more attention than those flashy packaging. It's all about the black swan moment in gambling. Who knows, maybe the next PEPE is among these. Whether a legendary meme can emerge this round is really uncertain. Let's wait and see if the new year's capital game can trigger a breakout. Community consensus is the key; everything else is虚的. It depends on who can rally people's hearts. It feels like all just preparations; the real protagonist hasn't appeared yet. Those entering now should just consider it a bottom-fishing. After doing meme for so long, I just don't believe in those hyped coins. The market always loves to surprise. I didn't quite understand this one. Sichuan dialect packaging philosophy? Feels a bit pieced together. The ability to spread and virally grow determines life or death. This hits the point exactly. Playing with memes is really playing with psychology. Let's wait and see if there will be a miracle in the new year. Anyway, I've already laid some traps.
