Recently, a major exchange's risk control system was upgraded. I haven't used my small account for two months, and today when I logged in, I was immediately asked for facial recognition. The problem is, this account is real-identified with my mom's ID card, so facial verification has to wait until I get home.

Honestly, this approach has its pros and cons. The benefits are obvious—effectively preventing account theft, eliminating the phenomenon of account resale, and truly safeguarding user assets. The drawbacks are also quite real—using a family member's identity for real-name verification can easily cause issues, and repeated verification is required when logging in from different locations, which isn't very smooth.

But overall, the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages. For traders, the security of assets in their wallets is always the top priority. An extra layer of verification may be a bit troublesome, but compared to the risk of account attacks and asset theft, this cost is completely worth it.

Ah... Using mom's ID for real-name verification also requires facial recognition, which is a bit awkward haha Asset security is indeed important, but honestly, you still need to manage your account well and avoid using these secondary accounts Why not just verify your real name directly to save all this trouble? As for the risk control upgrade, honestly, it's the exchange passing the buck and shifting the security responsibility onto users Seriously, anti-theft measures are necessary, but repeated verification is really annoying These days, even logging into a small account is so troublesome, why bother? Account theft is really frustrating, but having to go through facial recognition every time is just ridiculous Secondary accounts are meant for convenience, but instead, they get stuck, which is a bit ironic Basically, the exchange just wants to appear to be doing security, but user experience is just ignored You have to wait until you get home, which is really unreasonable... What if you're on a business trip?

Oh my, even family members' ID cards are being forced to go home and verify their faces. This risk control is really strict. Getting your account stolen is the real explosion. So what if you verify one more time? Just accept it. By the way, being able to block scalpers from flipping accounts like this shows there's some real skill involved.

Haha, this is the price of using a family member's ID card. Using a secondary account directly was indeed sent.

Haha, using a mom's face to verify a small account is just impossible. Accounts using someone else's identity definitely have no future now. Security has improved, but the experience is really poor. It should have been like this a long time ago to prevent accounts from spreading everywhere. Oh my, having to go home again for face verification is just ridiculous. Safety first, anyway, it's only one verification. This round of risk control is a bit harsh, but it really prevented many scam accounts.

Haha, now it's fine. Using a family member's ID requires their cooperation. Verifying with a relative's real name is like this—it's satisfying but really annoying at critical moments. Security and user experience are always at odds, but losing coins is much worse than a little inconvenience. This upgrade is indeed a bit intense, but thinking about those who got their accounts hacked, I guess it's okay. By the way, can your mom verify remotely? Just try a video call. Risk control will inevitably flag users, just don't make normal users feel too hopeless.
