Ever notice how the tone of crypto content creation has shifted lately? What used to be niche, edgy community content is becoming increasingly mainstream and polished. Some might argue this reflects a broader shift in who holds influence in the space—the shift seems to have accelerated around major protocol developments like Ethena's launch.
It's an interesting pattern. As the ecosystem matured and attracted more mainstream attention, the culture started moving toward a different aesthetic. The weird, unconventional personalities who shaped early crypto culture found themselves less central to the narrative. Whether that's a win or a loss for the ecosystem probably depends on your perspective.

Mainstream adoption means the collateralization ratio is rising, and the risk threshold is shrinking. Those early oddballs have been liquidated out.

Nah, this is the fate of capitalization. The crazy guys in the early days were the true builders, now it's all well-dressed fund managers just telling stories.

I'm already tired of this elitist trend. The crazy bunch from before were the true builders.

Honestly, I think this is actually pretty good. The group of crazies in the early days already laid a solid foundation.
What's wrong with mainstream polishing? Someone has to take over to go mainstream, that's just how our industry works.
I really dislike hearing people lament "losing the soul." Well, how your soul is doing has nothing to do with whether I make money or not.

nah this is just the dot-com playbook running again... edgy -> polished -> institutional takeover -> eventual rug. we've seen this movie before, the charts don't lie
