Which narrative will dominate the crypto market this year?

Looking at the current landscape—we've seen AI tokens make waves, DeFi protocols evolve, and institutional adoption accelerate. But what's actually going to be *the* story that drives volume and defines 2025?

Is it the next wave of blockchain scalability? Real-world asset tokenization finally hitting mainstream? Perhaps it's the intersection of traditional finance and crypto that nobody saw coming. Or maybe the narrative just hasn't landed yet.

What's your take? What momentum are you tracking that could shift the entire market conversation?

NGL, the RWA system should have exploded a long time ago. It feels a bit late to start discussing it now...

I've been through it all, whether it's AI tokens or the mainstreaming of RWA—talking nicely is just pie in the sky. That wave in 2018 was also hyped up like this, and what happened? Now we're just waiting to see who will run away again. --- Real narrative? Uh... it's still the story of those institutions harvesting retail investors' money, playing out cyclically. --- Layer 2 ecosystems are hot, but who dares guarantee there are no contract risks? Don't ask me, my lessons from 2018 are deep enough. --- To put it simply, as long as the project teams are still hyping and APY is still bragging, no matter how much the market is hyped, it won't turn around. --- Wake up, everyone. It's just another night before a Ponzi scheme collapses. History loves to repeat itself.

honestly? the "narrative" talk feels like we're pattern-matching again. every cycle it's the same—scalability solves everything, then it doesn't, then we find new problems in the implementation. what actually moves markets is when a protocol breaks in unexpected ways and nobody notices til it's too late.

To be honest, the AI token hype was just speculation. The real driving force still depends on the institutional investment intensity. RWA is the long-term viability, but it's still too early now.

Honestly, the hype around RWA has been going on for so long, but we haven't seen a real breakout. Instead, AI tokens are now running wild, and it seems like retail investors are just chasing the trend... The true narrative should be about how institutions are entering the market, but they are damn opaque.

The RWA set should have arrived long ago, but that group in traditional finance is still figuring out how to engage with crypto... On the other hand, the stories behind those smaller coins are more compelling, and retail investors jumping on the bandwagon are the real volume generators.

Honestly, everyone is waiting for that narrative to materialize, but I think the craziest part is actually those small corners that haven't been discovered yet... RWA is indeed moving, but to truly break the circle? We have to wait until institutional players really go all in.
