【CoinPush】The US Dollar Index experienced a pullback on January 12, closing at 98.862, down 0.27%. This round of dollar weakness has led to different performances among several major currencies.

The euro performed the strongest, trading at 1.1672 USD per euro, continuing its appreciation from the previous trading day’s 1.1635 USD. The British pound also maintained its upward momentum, rising from 1.3407 USD to 1.3466 USD. The Japanese yen hit a new high, with 1 USD exchanging for 158.14 yen, weakening from 157.88 yen the day before.

On the other hand, the Swiss franc and the Canadian dollar both depreciated. The franc fell from 0.801 to 0.797, and the Canadian dollar declined from 1.391 to 1.3871. The Swedish krona also came under pressure, dropping from 9.2025 kronor to 9.1693 kronor.

Overall, the US dollar is under short-term pressure, while major European currencies are gaining support. Such volatility has become the norm in the current global macro environment. For traders monitoring the dollar’s movement, these exchange rate changes remain worth close attention.

Did the dollar fall below 99? It was about time. Europe has been doing pretty well with this rally, and the yen is also taking the opportunity to rebel.

The US dollar is starting to falter again, the euro is taking off this wave, and the yen hit a new high. I feel like this thing isn't over yet.

The dollar has broken its support, and European currencies are taking off this wave. I already said that once the signals of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates come out, the dollar will have to kneel.

The US dollar is being mischievous again, and the European currencies are on the rise. It feels like they're about to ride the wind and waves.

What does it matter if the US dollar falls below 99? I'm happy when the euro appreciates... No, I don't hold any positions at all, haha. The fact that the yen hit a new high is quite interesting. Is the risk aversion demand coming back? By the way, the Canadian dollar is depreciating so quickly. Should I start bottom fishing... European currencies are taking turns, it feels like the Federal Reserve is really starting to lose control this time. The Swiss franc hasn't fallen much but remains very stable. That's just how the Swiss are—calm and unshaken. How long can this dollar weakness last? It feels like a false prosperity.

Did the US dollar fall below 99? Europe has really risen this time, and the yen is hitting new highs again... This rhythm feels off.

So what if the dollar falls below 99? The euro and pound are rising again. Should we buy European currencies in this wave?

The US dollar is starting to falter again. The European currencies are indeed surging strongly, and the yen has hit a new high. It seems that risk aversion sentiment is rising again.

Did the US dollar fall below 99 again? Europe is about to turn things around, and the yen is still hitting new highs... It seems like the Federal Reserve is about to change its tone in this wave.
