My friend asked me about XPL a couple of days ago, and I just said—this thing might be the next seriously underrated payment solution.

Have you calculated the transfer costs? Every time I transfer USDT on Ethereum, it easily costs $10-20 when the market is good, even on BSC it’s a few cents. Isn’t that annoying? What has XPL achieved? It directly cuts out the fees.

Honestly, what’s the ultimate goal of our crypto trading? Cashing out, spending money, making purchases in the real world. And what’s the result? Every transfer gets cut into, is this business profitable? Think about it.

XPL’s idea is actually pretty straightforward, but execution isn’t easy. Zero-fee stablecoin transfers, Bitcoin-level security backing, sub-second confirmation speeds. These are the real solutions to pain points, not hype concepts.

From a technical perspective, it indeed looks bearish. MACD is bearish, EMA is declining, retail investors are panicking and selling. But look at on-chain data? Big whales are quietly accumulating. That contrast is interesting.

On January 25th, nearly 90 million tokens will be unlocked, and everyone worries about a dump. But real opportunities often hide in panic. Staking features are about to go live, institutional funds are quietly entering, and ecosystem partnerships are expanding. RSI is almost in oversold territory.

Technically, it’s bearish, but the fundamentals are strengthening. This kind of disconnect often breeds the biggest reversals.

My simple advice—if you don’t understand, don’t move. But if you understand the value of payment infrastructure and the current transfer pain points, this direction is definitely worth paying more attention to. Do your homework before taking action.

Transaction fees are indeed a big issue, the crypto world is so competitive yet still getting exploited Whales accumulating is quite interesting, during retail panic often... what do you guys think? The selling point of zero fees sounds simple, but actually implementing it is not that easy The 90 million tokens unlocking sounds scary, but isn't that how opportunities for reversal come about? If XPL can truly solve the transfer cost issue, its value is indeed underestimated Technical outlook is bearish, fundamentals are bullish, I've seen this kind of disconnect many times Never touch things you don't understand, you need to do thorough research What does it mean when big whales move quietly? During panic, it's often time to look at on-chain data There is indeed room for imagination in the payments sector

Zero fees really hit the pain point; every time I get cut during a transfer, it's damn annoying. Whales are accumulating while retail investors are selling, this contrast is quite interesting—definitely a common sign before a reversal. That's right, the disconnect between technical bearishness and strong fundamentals often signals the night before a major move. However, unlocking 90 million tokens is still a bit scary; it depends on whether institutions will step in to buy. The real payment solution is the way to go; the hype about concepts is already tired, and I agree with this approach.

tbh the whale accumulation vs. retail panic narrative is getting predictable... but yeah the fee structure angle actually hits different. that said, if the unlock tsunami doesn't crater it, maybe there's something to the infrastructure play. not touching until sentiment metrics flip though.

Zero fees sound great, but I still want to see if it will break through the bottom right after the unlock on January 25th. Whale accumulation, right? I saw that too, but can this thing really be used or is it still a question mark? Feels like another overhyped payment concept, we're all used to getting cut. The technical chart is so bad, yet they still dare to talk about a reversal. Aren't you afraid of being cut like a leek? On-chain data is real, but cheap transfers have been done by someone else long ago. Not sure whether to buy in or wait, anyway, just observing for now. Too many pitfalls.
