Amid the shadow of the US military fleet (US) approaching, Tehran is sending a surprisingly diplomatic signal. Iran's senior security officials hinted at significant progress in efforts to ease tensions with Washington after days of escalating regional turmoil.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary, Ali Larijani, revealed that a 'structured framework' for negotiations is now taking shape. In his official statement on Saturday (31/1/2026), Larijani emphasized that the communication process continues to advance despite the situation on the ground appearing to heat up.
"We see a structure beginning to become clear. We also dismiss all the manufactured noise from the war narratives deliberately spread by certain media," Larijani said, trying to cool the atmosphere.
