I have a habit of using a translation app with high-precision simultaneous translation when communicating with foreigners. On one hand, it helps keep a record of the conversation for future review; on the other hand, I lack confidence in my English listening skills. I am sure I can make myself understood verbally, but listening is another story, especially when foreigners are excited and talking fast.

During the dinner, I had the following conversation with Matthew, the head of Decibel ecosystem, as shown in the picture:
- Matthew is a pretty righteous person. He went from talking about crypto crimes to Epstein, and then mentioned Diddy.
- I am familiar with SBF, Do Kwon, Epstein, but I had never heard of Diddy before.
- Later, I looked it up and found out that the boastful dad is Diddy, whose Chinese name comes from his stage name Puff Daddy.

This is a microcosm of the significance of attending events. Sometimes, due to cultural differences, many pieces of information can only be fully understood through face-to-face communication.

Back to the dinner itself, the same kind of thought process applies to Decibel(@DecibelTrade). Before attending, I only knew it was a PerpDEX, and nothing else. After the dinner discussions and presentations, I confirmed at least the following:
- Decibel was fully incubated by Aptos, a true "child" chain, very well-funded.
- The Chinese market has found top-tier agencies for promotion.
- Its gameplay is similar to early Aster: staking stablecoins to earn points, basically a minting cow for the Aptos chain.
- Currently, Season0 mainnet has not launched yet, but the PerpDEX seems to focus on gains from interest-bearing US debt assets.

Based on these judgments, I deposited $10,000 after the dinner that day. The limit was only 50 million, almost full, so I didn't post on Twitter. Today, I saw the limit increased to 80 million, so I want to talk about it.
