#比特币重回跌势 As oil prices surge nearly 20%, Bitcoin drops below $66,000 again

Bitcoin has now fallen for four consecutive days to a low of $65,618, after previously rising due to U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran. On Sunday local time, Bitcoin dropped nearly 2% within just 15 minutes, while oil prices surged nearly 20%, amid concerns over severe supply shortages in the global energy market driven by escalating Middle East conflicts. Data from decentralized derivatives platform Hyperliquid shows that after the U.S. futures market opened, oil prices rose from $95 per barrel to $113.7, with Iraq warning that about 3 million barrels of production could be disrupted daily due to Iranian threats against tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
TradingView data indicates this is the highest oil price since April 2022, when Russia began invading Ukraine weeks earlier. Last week, oil prices rose over 30% after the U.S. and Israel struck Iran, prompting Iran to retaliate against several of its Middle Eastern neighbors.
Bitcoin price on Sunday at 10:30 PM UTC fell from $66,960 to $65,725, then rebounded to $66,272 at the time of writing after the U.S. futures market opened. High-liquidity data also shows that oil has fallen to $105 per barrel. During the Middle East conflict last week, Bitcoin prices rose, with Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei passing away, climbing from below $64,000 to $73,770 on Wednesday. But since then, Bitcoin has continued to decline over the past four days.
Despite the surge in oil prices, Trump expects the rapid increase to be temporary: “We thought oil prices would go up, and they did. They will come down too. They will drop very quickly,” Trump told reporters on Saturday. Trump also dismissed the idea that the U.S. might need to use strategic petroleum reserves, stating, “We have a lot of oil. Our country has plenty,” Trump said. “There’s a lot of oil out there. It will heal very quickly.”
