Kharg Island is Iran's largest oil export terminal, serving as the economic "lifeline" of 🇮🇷Iran. It handles approximately 90% of Iran's crude oil exports(typically 1.3-2 million barrels/day, reaching 3 million) at times.
All oil from major fields is pumped through pipelines to this site, then exported via mega-tankers.
If the oil facilities here are destroyed, Iran's economy would be paralyzed immediately since oil is the primary source of revenue.
