Lesson on Pair Trading: Timing and Funding matters

My Timing of this Long HYPE / Short SKR was way off.
In the end this trade turned profitable since usually it's only a matter of time until HYPE runs harder than the rest. But picking SKR as a short leg was a poor decision when there is stuff like STRK.
While the trade PnL is positive now the funding on the SKR short got crazy for a while. So don't just check if price is going down but also if funding rates are normal or not.
