BTC balances on Bitcoin exchanges have fallen by nearly $10 billion in 2024.
About $10 billion worth of bitcoin has left cryptocurrency exchanges since the launch of spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States. Data from analytics firm Glassnode shows that exchanges have fallen by more than 136,000 BTC since January 11. Bitcoin's supply dynamics continue to tilt in favor of the bulls as exchanges have seen massive withdrawals this quarter. Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. have been trading for less than three months, but in that time, about $9.5 billion worth of BTC has been withdrawn from major trading platforms
