#ELON 🤑 Ma Ge once again used a DOGE photo to promote the Ethereum emoji coin
Ethereum meme coin Kekius Maximus (KEKIUS) surged on Thursday after Mako posted a tribute image of a fictional frog on X (, previously known as Twitter). While showcasing his office setup at the Department of Efficiency (DOGE), a painting seemed to have been digitally processed into a screenshot of Kekius Maximus. Subsequently, this meme coin surged by 60%, rising to $0.03. In the past day, the price of KEKIUS has risen by nearly 72%, currently priced at $0.026. Kekius Maximus soared to $0.40 in January, when Old Ma first used a frog as his avatar on X. A few days later, when Old Ma's account returned to normal—showing the face of a billionaire—the value of this meme coin began to plummet. Elon Musk's affection for DOGE has been a topic of great interest for years, but this tech CEO's obsession with Kekius Maximus only dates back to last December. Musk first described the image of the "Pepe the Frog Emperor" as "amazing" on X a few weeks before he made it his profile picture. In his post comments on Thursday, Old Ma referred to Kekius Maximus as the "late great man." He also linked to the song "Now We Are Free" performed by the Croatian music duo 2Cellos. An alternative version of this somber melody appears in the movie "Gladiator." This piece was recorded by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard, and the film's score later received an Oscar nomination. In this popular film, there is a character named Maximus Decimus Meridius, portrayed by Russell Crowe, who is a Roman military commander. Old Ma's social media behavior has already affected the prices of many meme coins, including the meme coin CumRocket associated with the infamous FTX tycoon Sam Bankman-Fried. Old Ma also claimed that his character in the video game "Path of Exile" is named Kekius Maximus. At one point, it seemed that Old Ma had lost that title because his character died, but the tech CEO later clarified that he was able to retrieve that name. #Doge Ma Ge/Old Ma discusses #Ma Ge/Old Ma
