$PIPPIN friends, we need to talk about something that hits hard. Many people in crypto keep losing money, and the problem usually isn't their chart-reading ability—it's that their positions have already blown up.

Some time ago I worked with a trader whose market judgment was completely accurate—direction right, structure right, timing right. Yet he still lost money. Why? He went too heavy on a single position. The market only retraced 3%, his mindset collapsed, and he liquidated his position at the lowest point. Right after, the market shot up. At that moment I told him: "You didn't lose to the market, you lost to your position sizing."

What truly separates successful traders from the rest has never been how strong their technical analysis is—it's how well they manage their position sizing.

My own trading logic is actually not that complicated, but my execution standards are extremely high:

**Step One: Test with small positions, make no commitments yet**
For any market move, I first try with 10%-20% of my capital. Only after confirming direction do I consider adding. If my judgment is wrong, I stop loss immediately.

**Step Two: Build positions gradually, never be greedy**
Markets won't give you perfect entry points, and I don't chase bottoms or tops either. If I can capture 60% of a move, that's already a great trade.

**Step Three: Think it through before acting**
Before every trade, I ask myself three questions: Where's my stop loss? Can I still add if needed? Will adding hurt my opportunities in the next wave? If I can't think it through, I wait—better to skip a trade than force it.

**Step Four: Manage short-term and swing positions separately**
Short-term trades have short-term position sizes, swing trades have swing holding periods. Mix them together and your account will eventually explode.

Many people live in a dream: if I make one major correct call, I can turn everything around.

But the truth in crypto is: **You have to survive first.**

After all my years trading, what really stabilized my account wasn't any single big win—it was never getting blown up by the market from losing control of my positions again.

Remember this: Market direction determines how much you make on a trade, but position sizing determines whether you can keep making money consistently.
