PANews รายงานเมื่อวันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ว่าตามประกาศของ IoTeX เนื่องจากการโจมตีสะพานข้ามสายโซ่ ioTube เมื่อวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์และการออก CIOTX โดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาตในฝั่ง Ethereum จึงมีการวางแผนที่จะละทิ้ง CIOTX บน Ethereum/Base/Solana ทันทีและปิดบริดจ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างถาวร และจะไม่รู้จักการสร้างของผู้โจมตี ผู้ถือการปฏิบัติตามข้อกําหนดจําเป็นต้องส่งแฮชการถ่ายโอนผ่านพอร์ทัลการอ้างสิทธิ์ และหลังจากการตรวจสอบแล้ว IOTX จะถูกแจกจ่ายบนเชน IoTeX ในอัตราส่วน 1:1 BSC/Polygon/IoTeX จะไม่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการออกเพิ่มเติม และจะเปิดบริดจ์อีกครั้งหลังจากการตรวจสอบเพื่อให้ผู้ใช้ย้ายกลับไปยัง IOTX ด้วยตัวเอง จากนั้นจึงออฟไลน์อย่างถาวร นอกจากนี้ยังจะแจ้งให้ CEX/DEX/DeFi เพิกถอนหรือลบการรวม CIOTX โดยสิ้นเชิง
