Intuit, the company behind well-known financial products such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Circle to integrate the stablecoin USDC across its entire product ecosystem. This partnership lays the foundation for USDC to be used for a variety of financial services, notably tax refunds and tax payments using stablecoins — experiences that Intuit claims have never been feasible on traditional payment infrastructure.
According to Intuit, integrating USDC will help deliver faster speeds, lower costs, and better programmable cash flow for millions of individuals and businesses. Circle also emphasizes that Intuit’s user scale and industry position are key leverage points to expand the application of USDC in daily financial transactions. The two parties have not yet announced which blockchain USDC will be deployed on, with further details expected to be revealed in 2026.
