not many people realise this but ENA is actually a metal

nice thing about getting old is that you stop giving a fuck
i stopped being nice by default and it feels liberating

the middle class isn’t dead, it’s changed
people you see flying economy, staying at the motel with their kids who are somewhat overweight are actually lower classes now
the middle class is comprised of tech, finance and crypto workers earning >500k per household
in a world where labour is automated, the middle class will become a small group of decently well off people working for industries that automate said labour
the implication of this is a change in the nature of services. for eg i expect proliferation of business class only flights
the fabric of society is about to change rapidly

the fascinating thing about europe is that waiters refuse to get shit done even if

parts of europe are beautiful but the service is pretty subpar everywhere
- coffee is shit
- 5 star hotels dont have laundry services over christmas (what the)
- food is mid af except for select parts of italy and france
- staff is lazy and rude when you ask them for basic things
every time i come here i realise im just gonna stick to uk, us and asia

the more i travel to europe the more i realise these people have no idea about hospitality
if you are a tourist they will just max extract, give you the shittiest coffee, have you wait at the check in desk because they won’t hire more etc
massive difference compared to asia

the reality is large token holders are afraid their tokens are worthless
they saw axelar get acquired while token holders get fucked
so i do not blame them and in fact, this is an opportunity to make tokens more attractive than equity
but coming to a solution in aaves case involves both sides coming to an agreement

the aave drama needs to stop
it cannot be mired in conflict at a time like this, not when AAVE is best positioned to take on finance
time to shake hands, make an agreement and fuck the banks lads

ethereum is doubling down on yield products (jp tokenised fund, blackrock’s buidl)
solana and hype are doubling down on trading execution instead
the reality is that yield products tend to have much lower margins than trading ones
eth needs to embrace trading to survive
