We're starting the new year strong – Bitcoin has climbed back above $90,000, currently around $90,100 with decent gains today. Ethereum is steady above $3,100, and the total crypto market cap is sitting near $3.1 trillion after a solid recovery.
Institutional flows are picking up again: On January 2 alone, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $471 million in net inflows, with BlackRock and others leading the way. Ethereum ETFs brought in around $174 million as well. This follows some outflows late in 2025, but it looks like demand is rebounding heading into the year.
The bull cycle feels like it still has plenty of room to run – with strong ETF interest, potential rate cuts ahead, and broader adoption, I'm bullish that we're early in this phase. Patience is key in crypto; holding through volatility has always paid off.
